The Integration Toolkit's main intent is to assist the United Kingdom Construction Industry to achieve the key targets of the Strategic Forum for Construction's report "Accelerating Change", chaired by Sir John Egan.
Some members of the Association were involved in the Integration Toolkit's development.
It was first launched in December 2003, after which a series of launch events took place at various locations around the United Kingdom during 2004.
One of the roles of the Association of Construction Performance Advisors is to makes its clients aware of the Integration Toolkit and to use it where appropriate to do so.
The Integration Toolkit is not a step by step Instruction Manual.
It provides a Guide as to what needs to be done in principle and by whom, but professional support through the Association is available to help the Industry to benefit from Integration.
